Education is a multifaceted process for the Roastery.  To enjoy coffee one must know where coffee is grown.  This page contains a map of the world and shows every place in the world where coffee is grown.  There are many links to descriptions of the growing regions and the types of coffee that are grown there.  When we purchase the raw materials we must roast them to perfection.  This page contains information on how and why we roast the beans the way we do.

As part of our education process, we create tours to coffee producing countries to educate our customers and friends on the fundamentals of coffee growing and processing.  This page contains a description of our latest trip to Costa Rica.

The Roastery has been involved in evaluating coffees from around the world.  Our purpose for this evaluation is to produce the best tasting coffees

One of our priorities is the education of those that grow and pick the coffee.  We are committed to supporting their education by donating 10% of our income from the sales of coffee on our site to the Cup of Education Foundation.
